Brad Bates graduated from Shepherd University with a BS in Business Administration. Brad then worked in the Computer and Network Operations field for many years. Over time, he saw the need to more closely oversee his parents’ daily living needs and especially their finances. He helped them downsize the family house and move to independent living and then to assisted living. Like many Daily Money Managers, Brad’s interest is a personal one. He has seen the need and had a desire to help his parents and others in similar situations. When he saw others doing this, along with the support of the national organization AADMM, he knew this profession was for him. His attention to detail, understanding of finances, use of technology, and compassion towards helping others were a perfect fit.
